- Identify potential risks and threats: Start by identifying the potential risks and threats that MCOMS could face, such as natural disasters, accidents, or pandemics.
- Evaluate the impact of these risks on the institution, including the financial and operational consequences.
- Support in developing a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) of MCOMS to recover from disasters quickly, including protection of employees, customers, and assets, as well as procedures for maintaining business operations.
- Support MCOMs to communicate the plan to all employees with clear understanding on their roles and responsibilities in the event of a disaster or disruption.
- Regular testing and update of plan ensure it is effective and relevant, including conducting drills or simulations to practice the response and recovery procedures.
- Provide training to employees on the BCP and how to respond to emergencies to prepare them for practical actions in the event of a disaster or disruption.
